Sam Glaser is a jazz saxophonist and composer based in London. He is a graduate from the Royal Academy of Music where he had the chance to study with some of the best musicians in the UK including Julian Siegel, Martin Speak, Iain Ballamy, Stan Sulzmann, Tom Cawley and Barak Schmool, to name a few.
As well as holding a saxophone chair in NYJO, Sam also performs with the London-based Patchwork Jazz Orchestra. Patchwork have completed two tours in Italy in 2013 and 2015, have performed at the EFG London Jazz Festival 2014 and were recently awarded the prestigious Peter Whittingham Award for 2016.
Sam has also performed with the Gareth Lockrane Big Band, with the Winston Rollins Big Band and has regularly rehearsed with the London Jazz Orchestra.
