Claire occupied the baritone chair of NYJO and is now an established musician and a graduate of Trinity College of Music. Based in London, she plays all the saxophones, flutes and clarinets, working in television, studio, West End shows, Big Bands, symphony orchestras and jazz arenas.

She is no stranger to appearing at major venues including Wembley and Glastonbury with musical legends including Barry Manilow, Dame Shirley Bassey and Tony Bennett. She has just returned from a fantastic European tour in the horn section for Seal.

She has been spotted, saxophone in hand, on national TV as a member of the house bands on:

Claire is also a well established West End musician, appearing over the years in a variety of productions.

She played saxophone on the soundtrack for the Harry Potter films, recorded at EMI Abbey Road studios and also played on the cast album of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit musical Love Never Dies.

She works extensively for the BBC Big Band, Syd Lawrence Orchestra, John Wilson Orchestra, Bert Kaempfert Orchestra, The New Ted Heath Orchestra, Back To Basie Orchestra, City Of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra and the RTE National Concert Orchestra of Ireland. She has also played Principal Flute with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in their Bernstein on Broadway concert series under Karl Jenkins.
