Tom Ridout – Tenor Saxophone

Tom Ridout – Tenor SaxophoneHaving just finished a degree in jazz at the Royal Academy of Music, Tom is a saxophonist, recorder player and composer who can be heard playing regularly in many venues across London, such as the 606 Club, Ronnie Scott’s and the Vortex amongst others, either with his own bands or as part of other ensembles. He can also often be seen playing countrywide either under his own name, as well as in NYJO. With his own band, he has performed at the Bedford Jazz Festival and is a regular at the vibrant Bear Club in Luton. He was a recent finalist in the BBC Young Musician Jazz Award 2016 and as a result has been featured in programmes on Radio 3 and Jazz FM, and was a part of the broadcast of the Final on BBC Four.
