When we moved to our new NYJO office, it somehow seemed to lack the proper ambience of a Jazz establishment.
We needed some iconic jazz photography, some striking images from a recognised name, somebody UK based and highly regarded in the jazz community.
We contacted renowned jazz photographer William Ellis, who kindly offered to donate 3 large prints from his collection for the office walls. Immediately the NYJO office was transformed to a jazz art gallery and the prints became a major talking point for jazz at meetings.
To further our new relationship, and to help highlight jazz photography to a young audience, William has kindly offered to donate part of the proceeds of gallery sales of his prints, made via the NYJO website, to NYJO itself.
We are extremely grateful to William for his generous offer and urge NYJO fans and members to visit William’s website via the link on the NYJO website to view his vast collection of thought-provoking jazz art.
Many thanks William.
