NYJO at the Proms: Latest Press Reviews and Comments…Although the i-Player broadcast of  NYJO’s late night BBC Jazz Prom at The Royal Albert Hall on Friday 13th August is no longer available, you can still get a flavour of the occasion by watching this rousing rendition of the introductory number, Duke Ellington’s Rockin’ in Rhythm.

Jazzwise Magazine’s website carries an appreciative review too, and saxophonist Frank Griffith, who doubles as Director of Performance at Brunel University, was moved to comment: “The concert was remarkable and a real crowning moment for NYJO and jazz in general in the UK”.
