Please read our Company Update regarding the ongoing situation relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last updated: 18 March 2020

As a charity that prides itself on providing support to communities throughout the UK, we are assessing the current situation with the utmost caution.

During this period of uncertainty, our number one priority remains the welfare of all those associated with NYJO. We are closely following the GOV.UK guidelines, and would advise our friends to check the regularly updated pages dedicated to ‘stay at home’ and NHS guidance.

All of our education projects continue to be reviewed in line with the government’s guidance for educational settings, which we are monitoring daily. We are also mindful that many freelancers rely on us and we will endeavour to support them throughout this period. If you have any concerns or updates relating to a current NYJO commitment, please contact us directly at and a member of staff will be on hand to respond as soon as possible.

As of this time, there are no government ordered bans on live events or public meetings such as our rehearsals, but we have personally taken the decision to stop all of our public activities, especially now school closures have been implemented nationwide. Within our own organisation we have also enforced home-working  company-wide in order to slow the spread of the disease and protect everyone close to us as best as we possibly can.

As always, we send our love and best wishes out to our friends in music communities around the world.

Look after yourselves!
