Chris Dean

Chris was a boy soldier in the Household Cavalry, studying trombone with Bill Teskey – then Principal Trombone with the BBC Symphony Orchestra – at the Army School of Music at Kneller Hall, before joining NYJO in the mid-70s.

Lance Ellington

Before moving to NYJO, Tom held a chair in the Midlands Youth Jazz Orchestra

Callum Au

Callum Au is a professional trombonist, composer, orchestrator, and arranger. A member of NYJO from 2005, he held the lead trombone chair with the band from 2008 – 2012, and contributed over 50 charts to the band’s library.
