Bill became Life President of NYJO in 2009 and continues as Founding Musical Director of NYJO. He was awarded the OBE for Services to Music in 2010.

Veronica has been a NYJO board member since 2008 and has three children who are members of NYJO. She is a specialist music teacher and trained as a secondary school classroom and instrumental teacher at Sudbury Primary School, Wembley.
Tony is a Chartered Surveyor, who retired as a partner in the firm of Donaldsons in 1989. He specialised as a consultant in town and shopping centre development throughout the UK including the Brent Cross shopping centre and the regeneration of the Covent Garden Market.
Steve is currently Head Of Brass & Music Technology at Christ’s Hospital School just outside Horsham in Sussex and mentors the NYJO Academy Big Band. He has been Assistant Music Director since 2002
Ted was a NYJO band member on alto from 1968-1971 and has compiled a comprehensive video archive of the band through the ages.
Gill played in NYJO when younger and is now lead alto with Horn Factory, Suffolk’s premier Big Band
Simon Purcell, jazz musician and educator, best known as Head of Jazz at Trinity College of Music and member of the Pop and Jazz Steering Group for the Association of European Conservatoires.
Jack is Vice Chairman of NYJO.
