Sean Corby: Projects Executive

Sean has been working at NYJO since March 2011. Prior to this he has worked with a number of arts organsiations including Tomorrow’s Warriors, The Roundhouse and Trinity Laban.
Sean studied Jazz at the Royal Academy of Music and at the Schweitzer Institute at Sandpoint Festival USA. He has worked as a trumpet player with artists including Jazz Warriors, Gary Crosby, Jazz Jamaica All Stars, Mica Paris, Dennis Brown, Manic St Preachers, Sierra Maestra, Jah Wobble, Bill Sharpe and lots of others.
In addition to his work at NYJO, Sean represents a number of UK jazz musicians including Martin Speake and Julie Dexter and co produces ‘Jazz In The Round’, a monthly live jazz event with Jez Nelson of Jazz on 3 and The Cockpit Theatre.
