Sarah joined NYJO in 2001 and spent her last 3 years there as the principal singer (2005-2008).
She trained as a primary school teacher, which she did full-time for 2 years, before giving that up in favour of a singing career.
Sarah is currently promoting her first album "Darning the Dream," released in March 2010. This involves a 24-date UK tour with her jazz quartet.
Earlier this year, Sarah became the first British singer to win the prestigious International Jazz Singing Competition "Jazz Voices," held in Lithuania.
