I've been attending NYJO for the last 2 and a half years now and in the last year I have moved up from NYJO2 to the main NYJO group.
I've found that rehearsing at NYJO every Saturday has enabled me to massively improve my sight reading and general musicianship due to the fast paced nature of the rehearsals - only running charts a couple of times before putting them back in the pad.
I feel that I have gained more experience from playing in a band with so many fantastic musicaians and have been able to learn so much from them and the fantastic band leaders Mark Armstrong and Bill Ashton.
I'm loving my time at NYJO and am still gonna be around for a while yet. :D
