Barry Clements

Barry is from Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire. He is currently studying bass trombone with Dave Stewart at the Royal College of Music.
He is in his second year of study on the BMus course. He has been playing bass trombone since the age of 15 and since then has played in numerous orchestras/ensembles/big bands, including the Royal College of Music Sinfonietta and Symphony orchestras, Orion Symphony orchestra, CLIC Sargent Symphony orchestra, and University of London Symphony orchestra, Mid Herts Jazz Orchestra, Hertfordshire Youth Jazz Ensemble, Page 3 big band, Royal College of Music Jazz ensemble.
He has been playing for NYJO since September 2008, and has recently got the bass trombone chair.
He plays on a Bach Stradavarious 50B, and uses a Bach 1 1/2 G mouthpiece.
